Harada Bay continued his good form, and that of the stable and Ontrack Thoroughbreds by winning the 1600m Hogg's 18 Hour Slow Cooked Steaks Open Handicap at Doomben. Ridden by Luke Dittman, who was able to take advantage of a good barrier and have the horse travelling comfortably throughout, one off the fence, before saving ground on the inside turning for home and coming with a well timed run to score.

"This horse is just fantastic, he is a real gentleman around the stable and just never runs a bad race. Last start, in the Rocky Cup he had a heap of weight and drew badly, but still ran third. Today he drew well and had some weight relief and that ended up being the difference. Luke has ridden and won on him before and again rode him a treat. It is always good to get winners for Ontrack Thoughbreds and this is the third for them this week, so I am sure Grant Morgans and all of his owners will be over the moon." Commented Chris Meagher

"Our horses are really starting to come to the fore at the moment so it was great to get our fourth winner this week, so congratulations to Chris and the rest of the staff for doing such a great job. This horse probably should have won more races that what he has, but bad barriers and bad luck have really affected his winning strike rate. But he almost always collects a cheque, which has been great for his owners. There are still morse wins in him yet so we will just have to continue to place him right." Commented John Meagher
