Savanna Amour blitzed her rivals in winning the 1200m Haymans Electrical & Data Maiden at the Sunshine Coast. After flying the gates, jockey Jim Byrne was able to get the daughter Love Conquers All to come back and settle just behind the pace. On turning for home, after giving her some rein, she strolled up to the leaders and after a short battle was able to drawn away for a convincing win.

"It doesn't get much better than that, we have a really good opinion of this filly and it was nice to see her finally get it right and chalk up a win. It probably should have happened a bit earlier, but for bad luck. She has done a good job this time in and will go out for a short break, but, we are looking forward to her coming back in as we feel she will make a cracking 3 Year Old.' Commented Chris Meagher

"It was very pleasing to get another winner, especially for Ontrack Thoroughbreds, as both of us have had a very successful 5 days. This is a really nice filly and she has shown that she is above average from day one. She is still not there yet, but is improving mentally all the time so we feel that she will turn into a lovely 3 year old. This has been a terrific week for the stable so thanks to all the staff for their continued above average efforts." Commented John Meagher
