Endless Hope broke her maiden status in convincing style, by streeting the opposition to win the 1600m Coloundra RSL Maiden Plate at the Sunshine Coast. Jockey, Ronnie Stewart was aggressive on the filly from the outset, driving her into a leading position before allowing her to settle and then kick away in the run home to win by 3.5 lengths eased down, with a further 7.5 lengths to third.

"It has taken her a while to come to the fore, but we have always felt she would improve as she matured and also get over a bit of ground. That is basically what we have seen today. The owners, Heran Racing, have allowed us to be patient with her, so it was great to see her win for them today, especially as they have been very long time supporters of the stable. She should get further than this, so we are looking forward to stepping out to 1800-2000m and see what she can do." Commented trainer John Meagher

Stable foreman, Andy Kermond was also on hand to witness the win. " We ran her over 1400m and then John gave her a very solid trial in between, so even though it was a month between runs she was ready for this today. Ronnie rode another great race and the key was to have her with the leaders and travelling comfortably. It was a very good win, especially considering the margins."
