After winning the last race of the day at the Gold Coast, the 1200m Gold Coast Guineas with Savanna Amour, the winning day continued with Divine Dice strolling in to win the last at Ipswich, the 1200m Tridan Electrical Class 2 Handicap. After jumping well and then realising the pace was very slow, jockey Bridget Grylls allowed to son of Casino Prince to roll to front and kick away in the run home to win easily.

"It was very nice to get another winner on the day. This fellow is really starting to hit his straps now and is building in confidence every time he heads to the races. He ran a very good time and Bridget appears to have a great affinity with him. We are very happy for her to be riding our horses as she rides track work for us and knows all of the horses, which is of great benefit when it comes to actual races. It is our intention to just keep running this guy through his grades and allow him to learn through racing, as he is still not quite sure of what it is all about. But he has the ability to keep stepping up to the plate, which is pleasing. Congratulations to all the owners, (there are quite a few in him and I am sure there were a few celebratory drinks after the race) and for their patience, as it has taken a while to get him right, but he is now starting to repay them. Also thanks to the staff, especially with this guy as he has been a bit of a problem child and they have done a great job to get him to where he is now." Commented John Meagher
