Divine Dice made it three wins in a row when successful in the 1200m Gallery Restaurant QTIS 3 Year Old Handicap at the Gold Coast. Starting from an outside gate and being caught wide early, jockey Bridget Grylls, allowed him to move forward outside the leader, before kicking strongly in the run home to score by almost a length.

"This fellow just keeps improving and every time we ask him to step up he does. We were not really sure whether we would run him as he is an on pacer, but had basically drawn the outside. It didn't look good when he was caught three wide and those inside were not backing off, but Bridget knows him very well and allowed him to keep moving forward. He had a bit of a breather when he got outside the leader and kicked really strongly in the straight to win quite comfortably. When you consider he had to do it at both ends of the race it was a super performance." commented John Meagher

Stable foreman, Andy Kermond was also pleased with the performance. " We have had quite a few issues with this guy, as he was not handling the hot weather and is a bit of a larrikin when it comes to track work and around the stables. He has always shown ability and is now just starting to come into his own. He seems to get on really well with Bridget, so having her ride him has been helpful. If he keeps going like this there will be more wins in store for him."
