Meet And Greet made it two wins in a row when accounting for his rivals in the 1640m McIntyre Centre Riding For The Disabled BM 75 Handicap at Doomben. Helped by a 10/10 ride from Brad Stewart, who was able to get across to the rail, just behind the speed from barrier 10, the son of Champions Gallery was able to peel outside the leaders turning for home to gain the upper hand close to the line.

"This fellow has a real staying pedigree and I think we will see the best of him once he gets over a bit more ground. He had a bad barrier today and with the rail out it makes it pretty tough. I said to Brad jokingly before the race to jump him and have him third on the fence, he said that wouldn't be happening, but racing is a funny thing and it is exactly what did happen. So basically it was a terrific ride by him today. The stable is going really well at present and it was great to get two winners from two starters today. It is a real credit to all of our staff. Also it is always nice to win a race for Mary and Neville Bell and I am so happy to get two in a row with this guy for them." Commented John Meagher
