Gatlinburg scored his second win in a row when easily accounting for his rivals in the 1100m Schneider Electric Class 3 Plate at the Gold Coast. After jumping from a wide gate, Bridget Grylls was happy to allow the son of Husson settle at the rear of the field. As the field fanned out turning for home gaps opened on the inside allowing him a clear passage to the line.

"We have found the trick to him now, riding him cold and keeping him on the fresh side. It was a really good win and when you consider they ran home in 33.50 seconds and he was a long way off the leader at the 600m it made it more meritorious. Bridget rode a terrific race and it is helpful that she knows the horse very well as he sometimes does have a few tricks up his sleeve. It is great to win another race for Paul (Fudge) and the team at Warratah, they are great owners and we are thankful to them for entrusting their horses to us. We only have a small team in work at the moment, as we have transferred some horses to our Mornington stable, but they are all going really well, so it is a credit to all of our staff."
