Pippie, heading back to the races after an almost 12 month layoff, showed just how classy she was when she easily accounted for her rivals in the 1200m WWW.BRC.COM.AU NMW Handicap at Doomben. After bouncing to the front from barrier 1 she showed her rivals a clear paid of heels to score by 3.5 lengths on the line.

"We were very happy to see her come back to the races like that, after such a long time away. She is a very classy filly and has a bright future, so based on that she will head to Melbourne for the spring. Andy (Kermond) and the team, including our vet Laticia Kelly, have done a marvellous job with her, so a big thanks to them. Also, I have to say how happy we are for Marty and the Heran Racing team, as they have always been great supporters of ours just love their horses." Commented Chris Meagher
