At her second start back from a spell, Arctic Shock returned to the winners stall in style, easily accounting for her rivals in the 1500m Highview Accounting Handicap at Mornington. After starting from a wide gate, jockey Ben Melham had to track 3 wide for most of the race before rounding up the leaders in the run home to score by a comfortable one and a quarter lengths.

"Her first run back was good and she didn't really handle the going, so we knew she would improve considerably. She is group placed, so in reality she was better than her rivals today and probably showed that in the end, especially considering she had a pretty tough run. It is really nice to see her come back the way she has, as we really had a frustrating time with barriers when we took her to Adelaide last prep, so hopefully things will pan out better this time around. Congratulations to Ontrack Thoroughbreds and all of her owners, as they are very good supporters of ours and it is always good to win races for them. I also need to thank our staff who continue to do a great job with all of the horses."Commented Chris Meagher
